The white trevally is a strong, fast-moving gamefish found in brackish and saltwater. It feeds on fish, mollusks, and crustaceans, and can filter-feed like other carangids. Adults migrate seasonally between bottom and open water habitats.
Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater regions including the Atlantic and Mediterranean, it prefers banks and deep slopes ranging from 10 to 238 meters depth.
