The striped catshark is a small, slender shark known for its distinctive striped pattern. It is a nocturnal predator feeding mainly on fish, cephalopods, and crustaceans. Commonly called the pyjama shark due to its striped appearance, it inhabits coastal waters in Africa.
Where they live
Found in shallow to deep saltwater along the Atlantic and Indian Ocean coasts of Africa, typically from the shoreline down to 100 meters depth.
