The strawberry hind is a small, colorful grouper commonly found on Indo-Pacific coral reefs. It is one of the most frequent groupers in these regions and inhabits depths below 40 meters. Known also as the orange rock cod, this fish is prized for its vibrant appearance and game qualities.

Where they live

Commonly inhabits coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific, from shallow waters to around 110 meters deep, mostly around islands and some coastal areas like Mozambique.
