How to catch Stonefish
Synanceia verrucosa

The Stonefish is a highly venomous ambush predator known for its excellent camouflage among coral and rocky substrates. It dwells in caves and ledges and primarily feeds on fish and large invertebrates. This species is not targeted as a game fish due to its dangerous venom.
Where they live
Inhabits shallow to moderately deep waters (0-30 m) in saltwater environments across the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Prefers coral and rocky areas, often found in caves and ledges near shore.
