How to catch Sheefish
Stenodus leucichthys

The Sheefish is a large predatory salmonid found in northern rivers, lakes, and brackish coastal waters. It is known for its elongated, torpedo-shaped body and can grow up to 1.5 meters and 40 kilograms. Adults mainly feed on smaller fish, while juveniles consume aquatic insect larvae and small crustaceans.
Where they live
Sheefish inhabit northern rivers, some land-locked lakes, and nearby brackish coastal waters, favoring upper river reaches as adults and lower reaches for the young. They are nerito-pelagic and found in both freshwater and brackish environments up to around 10 meters depth.
