The pike-perch is a popular freshwater and brackish game fish known for its sharp predatory skills. It grows up to 1 meter long and can weigh as much as 20 kilograms. This species is cannibalistic and adapts its diet as it matures, shifting from small invertebrates to predominantly fish prey.

Where they live

Found in freshwater and brackish waters across Europe, Asia, Africa, and parts of North America. Prefers depths between 2 and 30 meters and inhabits various lakes and rivers.
