Pflueger's goatfish is a colorful saltwater species known for its vivid orange or rosy hues. It commonly forms small groups or large schools and actively hunts for its food. This fish preys primarily on smaller fish and crustaceans along the ocean bottom.
Where they live
Found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, Pflueger's goatfish inhabits shallow to moderately deep waters down to about 110 meters. It frequents sandy or rubble bottoms where it can forage in schools or small groups.
