Mawson's dragonfish is a slender predator found in cold southern oceans. It inhabits deep waters and preys on various fish species and macrofauna. This species is not targeted as a game fish.

Where they live

Found in cold saltwater environments of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans at depths of 110 to 300 meters. Prefers deep, cold marine habitats.
