The marbled goby is a small, elongated fish found in various water types including fresh, brackish, and saltwater. It typically inhabits shallow to moderately deep waters and preys on small macrofauna. Due to its small size and modest weight, it is not targeted as a game fish.
Where they live
Occurs in shallow to moderately deep waters (20–70m) across Europe, the Atlantic, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Found in freshwater, brackish, and saltwater environments.
