The Leopard coralgrouper is a striking saltwater predator found in coral reefs. It is known for its beautiful blue spots and strong territorial behavior. This species feeds mainly on small fish and occasionally crustaceans as juveniles.

Where they live

Found in coral reefs across the Pacific and Indian Oceans, generally between 3 and 100 meters deep. Often seen near cleaner fish and shrimp, sometimes schooling when feeding.
