How to catch King of herrings

The King of herrings, also known as the Giant oarfish, is the longest bony fish in the ocean with an eel-like body. It inhabits deep cool waters and occasionally strands on beaches. These elusive giants feed mainly on small crustaceans, fish, and squid in nutrient-rich waters.
Where they live
Found in deep, cool saltwater environments of the Atlantic and Mediterranean, they range from shallow 20 meters to depths around 1000 meters. They are oceanic, preferring latitudes above 15 degrees, sometimes washing ashore.
