The Kidako moray is an eel-like marine predator known for hunting fish and cuttlefish in reef crevices. It can grow up to about 90 cm long and is found mostly in the Pacific Ocean. This species is often spotted lurking in shallow reefs, waiting to ambush prey.

Found in shallow reef crevices of the Pacific Ocean, from depths of 2 to 350 meters. Prefers saltwater marine environments.
