The Indo-Pacific sailfish is a fast, elongated billfish known for its distinctive sail-like dorsal fin. It is a highly migratory oceanic predator found in warm saltwater regions. Anglers prize it for its speed and challenging fight.

Where they live

Found in warm saltwater oceans including the Indian Ocean and parts of the Atlantic. It inhabits epipelagic zones from the surface down to about 200 meters, often above the thermocline.
