The frigate tuna is a fast and agile saltwater fish known for its streamlined body and shoaling behavior. It preys on small fish, squids, and crustaceans near the ocean surface. Popular among anglers as a game fish, it can grow up to 65 cm in length.

Where they live

Found in warm saltwater regions of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, frigate tuna frequent epipelagic zones up to 50 meters deep, often near coastal areas as larvae.
