The Dorab wolf-herring is an elongated pelagic predator found in small hunting groups. It feeds mainly on small and juvenile fishes in coastal waters. This species can reach up to 100 cm in length and is prized by anglers.

Where they live

Found in shallow to moderately deep inshore waters up to 120 meters along continental shelves in the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Prefers brackish and saltwater environments.
