How to catch Cownose ray
Rhinoptera bonasus

The cownose ray is a benthopelagic ray known for forming huge schools and occasionally leaping from the water with a loud smack. It migrates in large groups along the Atlantic coast and Gulf of Mexico, feeding primarily on a variety of shellfish. This species is not targeted as a game fish but is an interesting sight for coastal anglers.
Where they live
Found in shallow waters up to 22 meters deep on continental shelves, bays, and estuaries along the North American Atlantic coast, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico. Forms large schools and migrates seasonally.
