The Coromandel whipray is a small stingray species found in shallow coastal waters. It often hides partially buried in sandy substrates and juveniles can be found in mangrove areas. This ray hunts for small animals along the sea floor.

Where they live

Inhabits shallow inshore coastal waters, including mangroves for juveniles, across Asia and the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
