The C-O sole is a small flatfish known for its distinctive body shape and popularity among anglers. It inhabits saltwater environments along the Pacific coast of North America. This bottom-dwelling species feeds on small invertebrates found in sandy and muddy substrates.

Where they live

Found from shallow waters around 18 meters to depths up to 350 meters along the Pacific coast of North America. Prefers sandy or muddy bottoms in saltwater habitats.
