The Brazilian flounder is a flatfish known for its ability to blend into sandy and muddy bottoms. It is a prized game fish found along the Atlantic coast. It can grow up to one meter in length and weighing up to 12 kilograms.

Where they live

Found in brackish and saltwater habitats along the Atlantic coast, typically from shallow waters down to 40 meters deep. Prefers sandy or muddy bottoms.
