How to catch Bluefin gurnard

The bluefin gurnard is a colorful bottom-dwelling fish known for its blue pectoral fins that resemble wings. It inhabits sandy and shelly seabeds from estuaries to continental shelves and sometimes rivers. Though not a popular game fish, it uses venomous dorsal spines for defense.
Where they live
Lives in brackish and saltwater from estuaries to continental shelf edges, favoring sandy and shelly bottoms. Found in Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans and often in rivers and bays as juveniles.
