The blue marlin is a large, powerful game fish known for its elongated body and spectacular leaps. It inhabits warm oceanic waters worldwide and is prized by anglers for its strength and size. This predator primarily hunts squid and fish near the surface but can also dive deep to feed.
Where they live
Found in warm ocean waters across the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Prefers deep blue water and is usually solitary rather than schooling. Occupies surface waters to depths around 1000 meters.
