Bank rockfish are sturdy saltwater fish found in the Pacific waters off North America. They have a typical rockfish shape and are popular among anglers for sport. These fish can grow up to about half a meter in length and weigh nearly 2 kilograms.
Where they live
Bank rockfish inhabit rocky reef areas from around 30 to 250 meters deep along the Pacific coast of North America. They prefer saltwater environments and are often found around underwater structures.
