How to catch Atlantic cod

The Atlantic cod is a large predatory fish known for its importance in commercial and recreational fishing. It has a fusiform body shape and is found in both brackish and saltwater environments. Adults are opportunistic hunters feeding on a variety of smaller fish and invertebrates, often active at dawn and dusk.
Where they live
Atlantic cod inhabit brackish and saltwater across the North Atlantic, from coastal North America to parts of Africa and the Mediterranean. They are found from shallow waters to depths up to 600 meters.
