The Arabian smooth-hound is a medium-sized shark found in the Indian Ocean. It has an elongated body and is known for its smooth skin and hardnose. This species is a predator that hunts small bottom-dwelling fish and various invertebrates.

Where they live

Found in continental waters of the Indian Ocean, both inshore and offshore, sometimes near coral reefs. It can dive to depths of around 400 meters.
